Now we are introduced to Martin aka Marty Vail, ex-army lawyer turned defense counselor– an irreverent and a bit shabby man. The evidence points to Aaron’s guilt, and he is facing capital punishment.
In Chicago, an archbishop – called the “Saint of Lakeview Drive” has been brutalized and a young man, Aaron Stampler, has been arrested from the scene of crime with the murder weapon. This is my first book by the author, and I must say I did enjoy reading the novel: a psychological thriller-cum- courtroom drama.
